Hot Stone Massage
Hot stone massage uses warm basalt stones as a tool to warm the muscle tissue making it more susceptible to the therapy. Basalt stone is a black volcanic rock that absorbs and retains the heat well. The basalt stone has a diverse mineralogical content that gives them a unique colour and special feel. Using warm basalt stones and a variety of techniques specially performed to penetrate the muscle at a deeper level. The treatment encourages the removal of built up toxins in the muscles and helps to encourage recovery from muscle fatigue.
